Open your CD-R/RW/ROMs, and photograph electronic parts...
High-quality photos, so I (or we) can zoom them much...
There is a way of overclocking the burners by resoldering some resistors, and of course, by flashing the better firmware...
And the other reason is to compare the lower and higher rated CD-R/RW/ROMs, and try to determine if they have the same electronics, so we can try to flash a firmware for the higher-rated CD...
Please, don't be scared of opening these devices... Just open the bottom side, and if you see some chips on it... If yes, photograph them and write down all the markings on them, and send them to me (or us)...
I would like to make a team that will deal with such stuff... Anyone interested?
