ok, i need to update my spreadsheet since i am now seeing pixel shader speeds. i have no clue what sort of performance increase (if any) pixel shaders have on a video card. if they give you some sort of increase in performance, i will need to modify my formula to include that.

also, do the new geforce 9 series cards come in pci-e only i take it?

if you can, please give some supporting evidence with your claim of increase of speed. here are my current formulas:

rank formula: =IF(SLI="Y", 1.55*(oc'd core+(oc'd memory/2)), oc'd core + (oc'd memory / 2))

o/c rating: =IF(SLI="Y", 1.55*(((oc'd core / stock core) + ((oc'd memory / stock memory) / 2)) - 1.5) * 100, ((oc'd core / stock core) + ((oc'd memory / stock memory) / 2)) - 1.5) * 100)

thanks.

It does make quite a bit of difference.

Since you have an 8800 you can do some testing of your own. Just OC the shaders and nothing else and then run some benchmarks. Do the same w/ the core and memory, and you'll know which one has the greatest impact on it's own. There may be a synergistic effect as well, though.
