not clocked running default speed heat sink is tolerable WAITING for millenium to ship before any nuttiness. To begin with I have a big *** 120V case fan in front 176mm mucho flow in. temps in the thirtys no problems OK problem. The position of psu in case is direcjly above proc sock, now this is snug fit enermax internal fan draws air away from proc while HSF fan trys to go the other way this didnt seem to efect temps too much till BA fan in front DIED!!??!! IDLE was 30-31c now with no BA fan Idle is 36-38c arghhh BTW HS is lapped ASilver is applied. Should i turn HSF around to draw air instead of fighting PSU fan Getting new BA fan today HOPEFULLY?????????

It won't hurt anything if you flip the HS fan so that it's moving air in the opposite direction. If it makes temps worse, flip it back to the way it was orginally. Some folks go to considerable bother, and flip the Enermax(or other PS's that draw air into themselves right above the HSF). This presupposes that there's room in your case above the PS that allows the PS's fan access to enough air.

Or you can build a duct that lets the HSF fan draw or blow air directly from/to the outside of your case. Cardboard and duct tape work OK for this.
