I need more cooling from my Fop32 and I don't like Delta's noise for only 38 Cfm, so I'm thinking to install a nice and quiet Sunon, can you help me?

Thanks for your support :)

I am not really sure what you are asking. The FOP-32 has this wire spring thingy holding the fan on, all you need is a screw driver and a little care to pop it off and on.

Sorry, my brain appears to be in time delay mode...maybe I should check my BIOS settings...

You want to put a big 80mm fan on. A lot of people go buy a cheap plastic funnel and cut it to the size they want. You can mount the fan to the funnel with screws or even glue it on. I am not sure how to attach the funnel to the heat sink. I have seen articles on the home page about it, look around, you will figure out something.

The simplest way that I know of to attach an 80mm fan to a FOP32 is to screw a fan guard to the side of the 80mm fan that will be facing the heat sink. The clips will then hook to the fan grill and attach back on to the heat sink. You can just bend the clips I am told, but I'm not sure you could get them bent back if you don't like the larger fan.

I have tried this with the same fan you are considering on a FOP32 and found that my temps actually went up slightly over the standard YS-tech. Give it a try, you'll never know till you do :).
