Does it say 200hz on the monitor's OSD, or is that just what windows says?

OSD ? I dunno what that is heh lemme know what it is and I'll tell you, it says that in windows, DX and power Strip.

just got a new monitor i have it set 1152* something i dont remeber, and its at 85hz. my old one blew up`ed it was some POS monitor that came with my "E tower" i left some clothes on it, and it was barley able to support 1024*768 and it got too hot and then it started making noises like gas leaking....i left it at 1028 but the screen started to get crappy, it didnt make any noise at 800*600, but who can deal with that sh**zy...not me

1280x1024 @ 85Hz

17" CRT Belinea 10 30 55
I love it :) Nearly flat screen but not too expensive for it's qualities. Monitor design itself is rather ugly, but I don't mind at all.

1280x1024 looks funny since its 5/4 rather than the standard 4/3. Why are so many people using 1280x1024?

Beats me.....
but somehow 1280x1024 looks alot better on my monitor; not so verticaly washed out.

1024x768x32bit @75hz Hitachi SuperScan 20 (11yrs old) Area to check hide specs not supported is grayed out in win xp. Choice list shows it can go to 200hz. I have tried several different configurations, but it is best where it is. Getting old, and the screen is beginning to gray out in the corners. Will be getting new one on Saturday.

my monitor is only supposed to do around 60Hz (cheap Dell) @ 1280x960 but I have it "overclocked" with powerstrip to the point that it shuts off, 72Hz.
