what is your guys and gals think about this mobo.
Here is my feed back after using 7 boards
1. good stable board never crash on all tests unless it is over OC.
2. run win 2000 and linux fine without a hitch
3. older bios do not work well, win95 smoke the bios chip when tried to install. overclock bios is fast and great.
4. no official ata 100 driver for win2k but the beta one works fine.
5. did not burn my cpu when no heatsink attached. It shut down when temp is too hot (found out by accident)
6. not good for extreme overclocking, no high voltage tweak, no ram setting with cas 2.
7. sometimes post lower cpu speed when OCing but the fix is posted in front page
8. Real stable cpu voltage range despite load. most is only 0.1V
9. Lots of space for heatsink. I use super orb and it is cool never reach 45C at 950MHz 1.75V full load.
10. I use 250W PS for all board and duron 650 and did not have any problem OCing to 950.

Hey Overdoze,
I can't complain too much about the board, I had problems with my zip drive locking up win98, so it's now in the wife's computer. The OCing bios on msi's site is pretty good, if you set memory to spd auto it takes care of 4way interleave and with mushkin rev2 it automatically runs at cas2. I have had pretty good results, TB-1Ghz@1242, here are my results if your interested:
http://yourpage.blazenet.net/nutndun/scores.htm The only thing I wish I could do is a voltage mod like they are doing on the Asus board or the Abit(can't remember which one it is.

I've found the Super Orb to work fairly well on this board, but the Alpha 6035 cools it more. The best stable FSB setting I've tested so far was a D-750 running at 972 (9x108). Setting memory at Auto gives the best bandwidth and will automatically switch from CAS 2 to CAS 3 if necessary. I've tested with Mushkin HP rev 3 and always run at CAS 2.

I think it's a good board and the price is reasonable.

I am running that board and I love it. I have an 650 Duron @857 get the overclockers bios it is the best
