Pondering a monitor upgrade - MSI MPG-322URX-QD-OLED

I've been considering upgrading my monitor this year, but I'm trying to figure out if my GPU can push the refresh rate that it supports.

My MSI 4080 Super has DP 1.4a. The MSI MPG 322 URX QD-OLED has DP 2.1a inputs, which supports 4K240 with UHBR20.

My understanding is that DP1.4a in HBR3 will deliver 4K120 without DSC. I don't know what it will do while using DSC. This is where I'm stuck.

I guess asking about DP/DSC compatibility is a dud of a question.

I did a little googling since I'd never heard of DSC & found an article at Corsair. Don't know if it will help answer your questions.
BTW, what's UHBR20 & HBR3?
