I have a ABIT VH6-2. I thought it died a few weeks ago and so bought my current one. Anyway, I thought I would try the ABIT and see what it would do or not. I hooked it up with a Celly 500, 128 Mb RAM, Maxtor 12 Gb HDD, keyboard, mouse, ATI Rage 128, HP moniter and HSF. That's it. I fired it up, and lo and behold, it worked. I hopped into the BIOS to set the time and CPU speed, rebooted, and nothing. No POST, no moniter. Only the hum of fans working. I tried resetting the BIOS and still nothing. I saw no smoke and no sparks. What the heck happened?
This is what it did before also, it worked, then suddenly quit. Maybe I should just go find the recipet for FRY's and exchange it under theiy warranty that I bought with the mobo.

WOW!

That is exactly the same problem I am having with my BE6-II! One thing I did notice is the longer the computer is on for me anyway the more likely it is to not post when I restart. If the pc is off for a while it will fire right up. Other wise I get power but no post, no beeps or monitor.

I have tried everything, new PSU, blown all the dust out, cleaned off the cards and terminals. Everything and nothing seemes to help. So I'm thinking the board is junk.
