This is the same as the Coolmax CL-550L, except this has LED fan. OEM should be ATNG, which is the same as the Coolermaster. Not the greatest of quality, and cross loading is not good.

It's probably a good power supply, but I wouldn't put it in my rig. Part of what counts in a power supply is name brand, IMHO.

It is actually a GREAT PSU. Despite it being re-branded and its name not well known, with the rig I run in my sig, another HDD, more than enough fans, My rails are ALWAYS over 3.3/5/12. I've never once seen them go down. Plus the chrome finish on it is beautiful.

Yeah i had a 500 watt rosewill and it was pretty good .So im guessing that this one is even better. But i dont think it has the 6pin pci-e plug on it so your gonna have to give up 2 of your molex connector's for your 7800GTX when you get it

Indeed it is ATNG - Coolermaster uses AcBel Polytech.

These ATNG made units are average quality, much like Thermaltake's Sirtec made units (tT has expanded to Channel Well and HEC lately) - this one will work for the rig in question, but there are better units out there for the same price or less.

Like this one, which is likely just as capable as the Rosewill: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104954

Didn't several Coolmax PSUs fail in tests done by one of the legitimate reviews (Hexus, Xbit Labs, Tom's, 3DVelocity, SLCentral)?

performance over looks- go with the zippy.
very plain - not too many people have heard of them but solid as a damn bank safe.

26A on the 12v for a 350w rated psu, no bs rating either. the 500w version is about as good as the 520w ocz powerstream, both own.

if you really need budget, these come highly recommended from the dfi-street forum admin despite their reviews on newegg.

Indeed nothing beats a Zippy. However, just about everything beats the Skyhawks - I don't recommend them at all. There is a very good chance Deer makes them.

Other than that, welcome to the forums!

That 12V rail is sexy.

You really need to improve your social life. ;)

The UL certification number, E250501, points to Unitek Electronics, a China-based company, as the manufacturer. They don't show up among the ten biggest PSU makers:

1 Delta Electronics $942M
2 Emerson/Astec Power $878M
3 Lite-On Technology $652M
4 Invensys/Lambda $375M
5 Artesyn Technologies $355M
6 Tyco $290M
7 Sanken Electric $285M
8 Phihong $273M
9 Fortron-Source Power Group $227M
10 Power-One $200M
