Possible to get a good o/c on a TH7 without any mod ?

I was looking to buy a EPOX 4BDA2+ with 512Mo DDR PC2700 and a NW 1.8a but it's a big pain in the ... to get this mobo and good ram in Canada...

So i'm looking at the Abit TH7 II Raid with 2*256 Samsung RAMBUS and I would like to know if it is possible to get a decent overclock without any mods ???

Also, which 256 stick should I get

I' running my 1.6GHz NW @2656MHz
Although I've done some vid-pinning, I'm currently using 1.85V Vcore which would only require a bios-update.

quite decent for an out-of-the box setup. don't ya think?

so, with the new bios available, it's possible to get to 1.85v without any mod ?

yep that's right, and for the northwoods it isn't so advisable to go above 1.85V
