Please elaborate, Sir Johan. (Explain synonym?)

Sounds like he is saying ***k Maxon. And I don't blame him.

You wouldn't be the 1st, and i dont blame you, i know people on other forum that did exactly that, and then someone else started a new thread, with the scores of the old thread, for those you still care and want the results updated.
I also don't support Maxon/MS BS, so this is probably my last contribute at least for a while.

I think single thread scores are important to compare IPC across different generations so it would be nice if they where added to the topic:

Yes that is kind of how I feel. I have used Cinebench for years in my overclocking exploits. This benchmark is really an "enthusiast" type thing. When benching serious everything is stripped down and there's no way I'm going to be on MS store just so I can run CB R20, I woon't have any connectivity as it takes away from the results. So if I can't DL a portable version, I can't use this competitively this means it's useless to me period!

No I'm not going to track single core performance

Looks like Maxxon has changed their mind and are now offering a free download from their website that doesn't require the MS store. http://http.maxon.net/pub/cinebench/CinebenchR20.zip
I will also post this link in the OP and feel much better about supporting their software now so bench away people let's see some numbers!

I bet that when you rerun it a couple of times then it will pass 5000. It's not really as repeatable as Cinebench R15. I had +/- 300 points on my 9900K, randomly. Also, this benchmark reacts on everything that runs in the background so turn off any additional applications if you wish to get higher score.

Too late for a 6700k entry?

Alaric/i7 6700k @4703MHz/AiO/2542

Speed had dropped back to idle before the capture. Let me know if you need another run with the speed on CPUz.
