Yeah, UPS just delivered the brand new Pyramid PS-36KX. Beautiful. Should power the pelt no problem. 32 amp constant/35 amp surge. Adjustable power supply. 13.8v. - Now if the pelt would just show up. Oh, for those interested $118.00 and delivered rapidly.

Pyramids are good power supplies. Right up there with Lambda, but more affordably priced.

Hey Silver, Thats the power supply I was looking for. I don't mind the price either. May have to invest.

BTW, that MO you were talking about. You beat me the prize on the DD block by just a few minutes. Hope you have great cooling with it.

Not to feel bad. I had to order a cold plate for it. It will still be a couple of weeks before I can install the 226 watter and all. Have to put up a shelf for the power supply. You did catch it as a 32 amp constant/35 amp surge. 12v to 15v adjustable with readout on both as well and a internal cooling fan. Got it here on the table now. Wife thinks I'm off the edge....

HEHHEHHEH.
First I think I'll explain to her that this is absolutly positively without a doubt the very last "thing for your computer" that I will need in very long time and that when I upgrade her 450 p2 that she is complaining about, this latest "part" will prove invaluable and that it's a good thing I bought it now while it was "on sale" and well..........:D

Oh yeah, then I'll oc her.

We all know that would be a lie too. If said he wouldn't do it again, He probably still would.

You'll just have to invent stealth OCing. Just like the government, they spend billions we don't know about on stuff that we don't know exists.

I got that same ps, ps-36kx. for my 220watt pelt. It will do the job but you will need to add an extra cooling fan to keep the ps from shuting down due to heat. Those 220watters are something else and will draw 23amps easy.
