Hey all,

Just though I would point out this new video card and a new cooler. I wonder how well this would stack up against the new TR Heatpipe VGA cooler?

Well here you all are, from vr-zone:

I wonder if we can purchase this through the manufactuer? " Hello, I accidentally broke the heat sink... I know physical damage is not warranted, so I know I have to pay out of my pocket...:)"

i definitely wouldn't call it beautiful, I'd call it a good excuse to charge a lot more ;).

Apparantly it's only $10USD more, than the original. This is cheap considering the amount of money being spent on quiet Zalman's and Thermalright's.

When it hits retail, I will be emailing Powercolor to try and buy the cooler alone.

It doesn't use a fan, but he was saying that if a fan were added to equation the results would greatly improve.

Imagine having two in crossfire, then chambered to 120mm using a DHES system. That would be so cool :)

Dang,

I just read over at theinquirer that the cooling solution is a 3-slot design. Sucky.

almost all cards are a 3 slot design... they physically take up 2 slots and they need 1 more to breate and suck in air.

Well it certainly looks cool.

You could hook a fan on there for even better cooling.. a quiet fan that is.

I see that Sidewinder Computers now has an 80 X 15 mm Delta fan that would probably be just the ticket for that cooler and only costs around $9 too. They also have a Sanyo that's even quieter but costs twice as much as the Delta too.
