I'm thinking about getting a Swiftech MCW462-UT (which includes a 226W TEC prefitted n stuff) .... i was just wondering whether i would be able to power this, aswell as the rest of my system from an enermax 550W PSU ? (which is rated at 25A for the 12V rail i think)

(the tec is runs off 12-15V and requires 20-24A)

I ask this cos in this review -> http://www.mikhailtech.com/articles/cooling/mcw/

he says he uses an Enhance ENS-0246 which is 460W but has high amperage and he does not mention it being a dedicated PSU, and the block seems to perform ok

thanks in advance

you're deff going to want a dedicated psu. For amperage that high look to spend some dough, radioshack sells one special order that does 13.8 @ 23A for 119.99.
