I have an Asus P2B board (v1.0). I would like to get a new Tualatin for it.

However, I read before that my board would not boot up if the Vcore voltage is set anywhere lower then 1.8v. The only thing I found is the Powerleap option which fools the motherboard and sets its own voltage according to jumpers on the slockets.

I know that the pin connecting method has been mentioned here alot, but none that deals with old Slot1 boards that cant boot with the low voltages. (or dont even have low voltage settings)

So my question is: is there a cheaper slocket with Vcore adjustments (scaling down from the input soruce) that can also FOOL THE MOTHERBOARD INTO THINKING ITS X.XXv??

Iwin slocketII? but I think it still requires a baord that can set low voltages

Thanks,
