I had already ordered this Praxis wet bench before reaching out to a past overclocking club member. Just after retiring and before I moved to Florida I called him and offered my entire computer stash gathered over the years. My circa 2007 Dimastech test bench was among that stash. I only ordered the Praxis after learning Dimastech had gone out of business several years ago...shortly after I called and found he still had it. Long story short the Dimastech is back in my hands once again.

Weighing the pros and cons of both benches - The Dimastech was/is the go to for LN2/Dice play, but it is not a certainty I will jump back into that game. I do like how I can fit the 480 radiator inside. This model Praxis could never be used for LN2/Dice with the angled mb tray, but then again it is a stretch to think I will return to those methods again. The Praxis would be slightly easier to mount a pump/res. Guess I'm fighting nostalgia vs practicality lol. Is this an example of a win/win situation?

Yeah, I was fortunate to be able to get the Dimastech back. He is a young recent college grad in the middle of trying to improve his lot...don't think he was spending much time benching. Anyway, I'm going to give the Praxis a spin first. Waiting on some tubing and still have to mount the pump/res.
