Thank god it are only the 775 chips :)


There is also some chipset error...the production process on them failed somehow, so a small plastic thingie wasnt taken off the core before packaging. Seems to hold them from booting somehow.

No no . It is S478 and S775 Prescott processors . Both are affected .

the thingy wiht the film is a "limited" problem with a batch of motherboard chipsets , not processors .

The prescott error is due to engineering and not manufacturing therefore it is in both S478 and LG775. I doubt these were corrected in D0. I don't want to wait till E0 to get one...
