Honestly, that sounds like an incredibly clean cable setup (no active adapters is very nice!) so I would just go that route to begin with.
DVI-D or DisplayPort will give you the best overclocking on a monitor. You should be able to get 70Hz on HDMI though.

Awesome! Should I overclock this gpu? Or having it stock is gonna be way better than my overclocked 7950? Haha

It'll give the 7950 a rather good trouncing either way

And you said with this gpu I can set up hotkeys like I did in the CCC? Where ctrl+alt+3 will run three screen then ctrl+alt+1 for a single screen.

I know that I've used hotkeys to enable/disable Surround, among other things.
