Prime gets stuck on a test, temps drop, but doesnt lock up

Ok, was running prime today testing an overclock, and prime stopped on the 7th test, it didnt lock up, system was fine but the test never finished and my temps dropped back to idle (this just started happening). Remounted CPU, messed with bios settings, blah blah. Put my 2500+ to run as only a 3200+, still happens. cleaned the surface of my cpu, remember someone having problems with something like that. Reinstalled windows, thinking it may have been a software problem, any tips on what to do

gonna DL and older or newer version of prime now, maybe it's just messing up :/ any ideas
