Heres my situation, my printer is set as a network printer, and i think that side of the problem is set correctly. but it still says that the printer is offline. I was wondering on how to change the status to online, is there a option to do that? i checked the connection and thats fine, the printer is on, but the computer doesnt see it online. any suggestions?

Have you installed the printer as a local printer on the machine that it is connected to or as a network printer ?

To use a printer which attached to a pc on a different pc on the network, you have to install it as a local printer first. Then share it so that other computers can see it.

Once you have done that you can then setup the printer from other machines as a network printer.

Good Luck
