prob playing cs cuz of router!!

I just recently bought a router, i got it hook up and running. But when I play cs, chose internet setting @ dsl>256k and update server info, it stop and reset my router. If i choose internet at 28.8k or 56 K it work just fine ( lag though). I try DMZ the comp IP, it won't work. Is there any other way?? Help plz.

find out what port or ports the game uses and foward those ports to that computer's IP address....what type of router do you have?

hmm the problem is i dont' know wat port does CS use. I know how to foward the port to the comp's ip cuz I did it for my ftp server. I have a crapy Belkin 4 port router.

I know the default port of Counter-Strike is 27015 and I 99.9% guarentee you are using that port...
