Tried to upgrade the duron 700/A7V to an AXIA 1.2 "B" but it will not boot, the moniter says no input. Swiched between jumper free and jumper-nothing. Put the Duron back in, no problems. I was going to try it in my A7V-133 but it has a dangerden waterblock/mounting kit on it-so moving the lever is impossible. Any idea? Im going to run over to silent bob's and try the cpu in his mobo.
Thanks,
rob

Seems that this is a pretty sizeable problem with Asus. Hit their technical forum and it's littered with people that can't get their new A7v/A7A/A7M motherboards to boot. I myself am having the same problem and I have tried everything next to buying a new proc and memory.
Another thing, Asus is just plain poor with their tech support. M-F 8-5pst (4:30 on friday) Do they work at a bank over there????? They don't even have an 800 number. I expect a little more when I spend $170 of my hard earned green.
Sorry about the rant guys, I had an a7a266 that was doa as well. I've got all these nice new shiny parts and I've been waiting 3 weeks to get them running thanks to these guys.
If anyone can help please let me know.

BTW, I do tech support for a living.
