problems deleting desktop shortcut

i have a shortcut on my desktop, and when i drag it to the recycle bin it says "cannot delete file: cannot read from the source file or disk" anybody know what the deal is with that?

I haven't heard of that one before. Try holding down the SHIFT key and pressing the DELETE key I guess.

Sounds like you've already deleted the program, if what cube said didn't work you could always try right clicking on it and choosing delete.

thanks guys....i figured it out yesterday after i made this post lol....it was a dead shortcut, so i reinstalled the program, removed the shortcut, then uninstalled the program. but thatnks for the help guys, much appreciation.
