Problems since installing NIC

I have my athlob xp2000 system overcloked with a 144fsb * 12.5. Since installing my Linksys LNE100TX I am having system lock ups, reboots, blue screens of death, and other strange errors while I play my 3d vid games and using Burn-in wizard in benchmarking software such as Sisoft Sandra. This was not happening before NIC card. What the heck could be wrong?? I have a couple of older Lynksys hpn100 NIC cards are these any better? How about a D-Link dfe-530tx+? I saw this D-link for $10, I know there are better but I cant spend the money at this time.

Maybe there is an IRQ conflict. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Try it in a different pci slot. This might help avoid an IRQ conflict that LiGhTBoY mentioned.

could be the nic cant handle the overclocked PCI bus. just a thought.
