problems with Abit kt7a-raid

Umm, I thought that you only get ATA66 from the VIA chipset? That's what the manual on my KT& (not A) RAID says. You only get ATA100 from the HPT controller. Am I wrong, or is the KT7A diff from the KT7 in this respect?

The KT7A and Raid use the 686B Southbridge, which has native ATA100 Support, so all 4 IDE channels on a KT7A Raid support ATA100.

anyone have ideas on what the h@ll ed is talking about on the frontpage about 75gxp's failing... esp. the 45 GB ones.... ??????????????????
