Hi guys,
can you help me to understand why, when I install the chip into those Mobo, doesn't boot and I cannot enter into Bios but the case's leds are blinking???

I've setted properly the Multiplier on 6.5x, Fsb Frequency on 100Mhz and Agp divider on 2/3.

The P/// is tested on another mobo and works!
The Bios is upgraded to the newer release possible!
The Cpu cooler is right and works with 2 fans & a thin layer of thermal paste!

I'm confused, do you have suggestion or idea?
Thanks in advance for your support :)

Thanks for your reply,
I cannot test another Slot1 chip, coz I haven't, and there's not a jumper or a jumper setting for auto detect, probably depends by the voltage supported by this F.....G Mobo that is too high for a P/// 650 coppermine that works @1.65v.

Your board can't support a coppermine slot 1 CPU. Most of the Asus P2B series can't provide low enough vcore for Coppermine CPUs.

Thanks Tong, you confirm my suspect,
I've got a used Epox i440BX dual slot1 with scsi on board to replace the other one :)
