Program to monitor temps

Does anyone know of a program that will record temps? And I don't mean like monitor them in realtime. I want to see how my system holds up while I'm doing stuff like ripping movies and such overnight. I would like to see how hot it gets and see what the peak heat it reaches is. Is there a program that will let me see how hot it gets over a period of time?
