Well I'm starting my first project and I am officially addicted. So far I am slowly picking up parts and playing with the case. here a few pics of the case so far.

So far all I have are the fans in there, so I've got a long ways to go. I'm still learning as I go and am working on sleaving the power supply right now. For the power supply I've got a Silverstone Zeus 850, Intel E6600 for the processor, 2gig Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2 8000 memory, Seagate Baracuda 320gig @ 7200 hardrive. Since this is my first project I'm gonna go ahead and stick with air cooling and am still debating to go with either an 8800 video card or wait for the ATi R600. I still have no clue on the motherboard though. Right now I'm going to hold off on those decisions till a little into January and then decide. As for the case the next thing I'm gonna do is rip out the top little 80mm fan and put in another 120. The problem is if i go with a custom grill then I would have to cut into the power supply bay and the fan will sit 1in. inside it or I can cut foreward and have to go with mesh again unless I mount the power supply on the bottom (my head hurts). I have no clue on which route to go with but I've got till Jan to decide. Let me know what yall think or if you have any suggestions.

well the top fan goes under the knife this week and the build should be finished by Febuary 1.

Alot of people remove the top PSU cage (4 rivets to drill out If Im not mistaken). Personally, I took mine and just moved the PSU to the bottom, removed the flimsy horizontal bar thats exposed on the back of the case on the bottom of the top psu mount area, and flipped the mobo tray over to run reverse ATX. I was watercooling at the time, so I did that in the eventuality that I DID happen to spring a leak it would just go right oout hte bottom case grille, and not fry anything.

I suppose my next step will be a cutom painting a windows job.
