Prommy + P4 3.2 EE results (Updated)

I have a P4 3.2 EE fully stable at 4 ghz at 1.65 actual 1.63. My current settings are fully stable in prime 95, games etc. Temps are -24 degrees idle and between 0 and -3 C load.

I don't see why not... I run my voltage at 1.675 24/7. That is an expensive CPU but 1.65V should be fairly safe IMO

I consider 1.65 the do not exceed voltage. I think you'll probably be okay there if that's the actual voltage.

I ran my 3.0c at 1.7v from day one in my VapoPE...that was 6 months ago. No problems at all!! I now have my 3.0c under a Thermaltake SP-94 at 1.7v with no problems. I think you are safe taking it to 1.7v. But beyond that you're asking for it!

Is the frikin chip gona explode from pushing it .5v more?

If thats your question,

NO!

****, I wish I was millionaire.

I would take the voltage up to 1.7v. I know it's a $1000 chip, but 1.7v isn't going to kill it when you have prommy cooling.

You can probably get away with 1.7 for a while, but there's substantial evidence that suggests good cooling will not prevent the ill effects of high voltage on P4's.

if your thread title is "Prommy + P4 3.2 EE results" then please show us something to look at, like benchmarks.

Surely a CPU-Z screenshot is a great result already, AZN! :D
