i have a generic 300watt piece of sh|t with a (1) loud as5 mofo fan..

i switched out the original fan with 2 quiet (cyber cooler unknown specs) fans...... now its very quiet..

was wondering any probs might occur because it prob isn't getting the same cooling .. (less i would think)

generic psu use cheap fans. All I can say is monitor the case temperature. It really shouldn't make a major difference unless your new fan is drawing far less air out.

the original fan blows hella lot of air out.. and the new fan blows much less..

and wut would case temps matter? the psu is enclosed and exhasts air out the back.. i don't see how it effects case temps

psu: intakes air from the case.. exhaust to outside....

the original fan drew a lot more air from the case than the current fan does.
so it can affect the case temp. but that also depends on what other exhaust fans you have for the case.
