I'm planning on getting an 8800 GTS in the next week or two and I was wondering if my system (in .sig below) will handle it with a OCZ 600W Powerstream?

Edit: The system has the Opty 165 overclocked and stable at 2.8Ghz.

One card it will handle, but SLI with 8800's is probably going to end up to be too much.

Thanks! That was what I was thinking, but I wasn't 100% sure. I might get another GTS a little while down the road. I'll just budget for a 700W one then as well.

yea, a 500 watt should even handle it. im getting a corsair 520w. and I'm pretty confident it can handle one. but I'm not going to put a second one into the system. thats just tooo much power lol.

the evga site says

Minimum of a 450 Watt power supply.
Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 28 Amp Amps.

so with the corsair having 3 lines of 18a. so. it should handle it.
