i went to newegg and saw this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817148027
how do i know it will work with my system that i am putting together? its my first system and i've never installed a psu before

asus m2n AM2 gf 6100 atx
evga 7900gs
opteron 1210 santa ana
2x512 mb corsair
an optical
some pata
some sata

will tihs psu be fine for my build?

thanks a bunch

Mate, that is a very poor choice. Aspire branded ones use substandard components and should be banned from selling units here (along with Deer/L&C). Please do not skimp on your PSU! What is your budget? Based on that one can make a recommendation. :)

i want to spend as least as possible. if i can steer clear below $100 then that would be excellent. im building a system so i can find ways to budget my other parts. i dont know the prices of psu im still new to the whole system-building side of things. if i spent as much as 100 then i'd have to fit a case into that figure also. although its not written in stone i can spend more if necessary but tryin to cut my cost as much as i can

i think with this system i need to be at least 450watts that's why i went with 500 watts.

thanks
