I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a mouting plate that would house two PSU's. For example. the full tower server cases come with a plate that has a hole for the PSU, and another few holes to mount a fan. This plate can be removed to add a redundant PSU, but I would like to replace this plate to allow me to use two power supplies.

hmm...

hi audiman
(exscuse any typing errors, im trying a typing tutor program to help me type faster w/o looking a kb)

I have been looking over new cases for awile so i might be able to give some input

On most of the full tower server cases ive seen lately there was no back plate adapter for the redundant power supplies they all were connected to the internal "frame" , now thats all the pictures ive seen, and a few ive had a chance to look over in person,
Now you said your case is a type that has the ps opening and then there is a fan area above it? and you want a backplate for another ps for that area? if thats correct than just from the ones ive seen that I have never seen those thing so in might be easier to fabricate something your self.... all I have seen are the redundant power openings on all the full size tower servers i've seen...

but .. I remember seeing a place that sells these "mini" 300 watt redundant power supplies but they were just as expensive as the full size ones... I don't know if that would help either....

Take this for example. If you look at the spot for the power supply and the place to mount the Fan, you can see that this plate is bolted on the board. It is removable so you can add a redundant PSU if you want. however, I need a metal plate that housesto separate ATX PSU's.
Check out the pic.
