psu problems enermax galaxy 1000watt

hi

i have bin having problems with me enermax galaxy 1000watt psu for along time now i have bin getting beeps from the power supply and will fail to boot up, But now i upgraided my dvdr-to sata it dont wanna work @ all it just beeps there is two beeps then pause then just repeats that sequence untill i turn it off @ the back. I checked all the connections inside the case and all seems fine


system spec

asus crosshair
amd 5200 2.6ghz
2mb corsair ram
76mb rapter hdd
samsung sata dvd-r

any help would be great

As far as I know, Power units don't beep........

Its your motherboard, and it sound's like a CPU overheat, what kind of cooling do you have?

Its the 4pin CPU cable making full connection?

there is a buzzer built in the power pack its not the cpu over heating

the galaxy has beep and led error diagnostics. it shoudl have a chart for you when you got it.
