pump adapter question

sup guys, i have this pump and i was wondering what adapter would i need to make it a 3/8 barb? on the site it says it has a 1/4 mnpt, would i need to get a 1/4 to 3/8 but which one will screw on to it?

You go to Home Depot plumbing department and ask for a fitting that is 3/8" hose barb on one end and 1/4" FNPT on the other (MNPT is Male National Pipe Thread and FNPT is Female...)
