Q6600 Oc

Im quite new to overclocking, iv read all these articles and right now im runnin a Q6600 G0 my FSB @ 1333mhz and my vcore is showing up in CPUZ as 1.216 im runnin a tuniq tower 120 cooler, temps on idle are around 37-39c and on full load 40-50c, only thing im worried about is somtimes the temps jump from 39-45-47c in a matter of seconds never stays that hot long but is that normal for temps to be jumping? and do these temps and settings sound right?

Could Be vdroop causing your temps to dip

Vdroop is normal on some if not all motherboards....With the motherboard throttling back your volts your temps could take a plunge then crank back up when the volts kick back in

I heard of people doing a vdroop mod to eliminate vdroop but i do not know the pacifics

I would try typing in "Vdroop Mod" into google if you wanna know more....
