Hey guys, This is my first post and I am not sure where to begin. I am a n00b to overclocking in practice though I know of it and have overclocked a video card before (like it matters). Anways i just bought the following rig:
Asus p5ke
Q6600 2.4ghz
8gb Corsair Dominator 1066mhz
and this crazy Chiltec Cooler which i hope will fit (will find out tomorrow)
anyways I have no idea what the deal with voltage and all that stuff is and how to even begin overclocking this CPU.. I don't want that much out of it. I will be happy with 3.0ghz and ecstatic with 3.2
If someone could push me in the right direction of how to overclock this CPU on this mobo it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
