I'm doing some stability testing and wanted to run Quake3 in a continuous loop. Now I'm not a big gamer (except Tribes2) and I never really played Quake3 except at a friends house. I downloaded the free demo but I can't seem to find any option in the settings to run a continuous loop or monitor my FPS.
I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how.

Go to deja.com and search on "Q3 timedemo loop" or some variation of that. You'll find the answer. I did this once a while ago. I just don't remember the answer.

I have a utility called Q3Bench that allows you to do multiple benchmarks at various resolutions. I think it also has a "loop" feature. Go here http://www.g256.com/ for main site and put Q3Bench in the search box and it will take you to the necessary files for download.

I looked at that site more closely, just look of to the right on the front page under downloads and the link is right there.
