i have a lian-li pc-6070b "noise proof case" but my cpu cooling fan is loud and getting old so its starting to make taht buz kinda noise... anyway there are 3 case fans and the proc fan. i need advice on the best cooling heatsink for my proc and then the quietest fan for it.. i also need three 80mm case fans(i have a fan controler so i cna turn them down if need be..... specs on computer are in my sig. current temps are 37c in the case and 53c on dye with a volcano 11+ running at about 2/5 -1/2 speed

Are you overclocking at all? That's an important factor because if you'r eleaving your processor at default speeds you can sacrifice the temperature a bit. With lower flow 80mm's, that's less air flow (even though it's almost silent) and higher temps. Your case temp now at 37C is already very high though, so I don't know if you should go with slower fans. The best solution is to mod your case to accept bigger fans (92mm or 120mm) since they're quieter than 80mm fans with the same output but that just depends if you're willing to cut into your lian li.

I would recommend a Thermalright HS for the best cooling... the SP-97 is the best for the AMD's, although the slk-947 and slk-900a work well and cost less. Here's a link to a list of HS rankings LINK and the reviews for them ( click on the HS).

For fans, if you're looking for quiet... that's probably sub 40dB fans if you have a soundproofed case. I read a review on the case and the reviewer said that it even made the Tornado sound fairly quiet.

I'd recommend a Panaflo fan like the H1B
DIMENSION: 92 x 92 x 25mm
VOLTAGE: 12VDC
CURRENT: 0.29A
SPEED: 2850 RPM
AIR FLOW: 56.8 CFM
NOISE: 35.0 dBA

Here's a link to one site that carries it LINK although quite a few places carry it, so you might be able to find a better price.

Depends on your definition of quiet. The quietest fans are either Papst or the 80mm Panaflows. Quiet is expensive though. Check out www.siliconacoustics.com for the good stuff. You can also always either 7v the fan or use a Zalman Fanmate.

i sleep in teh same room as this thing everynight so i want it pretty quiet...do you think that thermal take will fit in my case?(the big one with heat pipes{yum heat pipes})

Not Thermaltake, Thermalright. The SP-97 should fit in your case, and I would use an 80mm Panaflo L1A with it.

why not use a 92 mm it can handle it and it would put out more air for the noise if im not correct, yes?

and to answer one more question no it is not overclocked at all it is running stock... mainly because of heat :(

Some people don't put 92's on their HS's b/c the dead spot on a 92mm fan is larger than that of a 80mm fan... but just putting a spacer in between the fan and HS will eliminate this problem entirely. Yes, 92mm fans are quieter and they put out a lot more air than most 80mm fans. I would recommend the Panaflo H1B ( 57cfm @ 35dB, I think) or the Delta HHE ( 72cfm @ 43dB , but it's out of stock for several months... so unless you want to wait...). The HHE is my personal favorite, but the H1B I'm told works well for the Thermalright HS's.

Please... don't go with Thermaltake. Thermalright is a much better company, they put out high quality HS's that perform a lot better than the TT products. Here's a link to some performance rankings LINK look what HS's are at the top... it's not Thermaltake.
