Does a burn in have to be continous for it to work right? I burned in through the night then my mom woke me up and said the power was out so i had to start again this morning :( Was that whole night wasted or did it have some kind of affect on the cpu?

Well I would say it would be a better burn if it were for like 24 hours straight instead of like 12 then 12 again thst is just my opinion.

I normally try to burn for like 48 or 72 hour's maybe longer.

I think that it really may depend on the chip itself. Many people say that they can get up a 200mhz more OC from burning, but then again some dont get anything.

after tryin it on my cpu i thought it was bs but i've noticed that my radeon 8500 after being oced for abour 6 mons can now oc a lil bit more and run abou the same temp ... could be the placebo effect who knows? but it can't hurt to try

thanks for the response but i know this... I need to know weather a cpu is burned in over time or if it has to be all at once for a long period of time. Did the time i spent burning in my cpu have an affect on it? Or was it wasted the moment the power went out?
