I'm definitely gonna get me some new toys from Intel to play with.
Did alot of research but still got a few questions.

I was thinking about getting the Core i7 920 with a Asus Rampage II Extreme mobo and OCZ 6GB 1600MHz Gold or Platinum kit for RAM.

I've been reading that a RAM voltage of 1.65 is safe for the Core i7 but will any higher kill the Core i7?
Some people say it will and some say you'll be safe if you got the vCore within a range of 0.5 Volts of the RAM voltage.

This got me confused.
What will kill it and what will not?

I have heard both arguments, but I believe you'll be safe as long as the vdimm voltage is withing .5v of your vcore. I will still make the effort to purchase a kit that has a rated voltage of 1.65v or less.

This old news... as long as you "unlink" the voltages you will be fine. Someone please correct me if I am wrong here..

Intel has said themselves that higher than 1.65V will not fry the CPU.
