I have a IBM thinkpad laptop and, it has a 233mhz P1 MMX. I was wondering if the cpu is the same size as a cpu from a desktop machine and, if its socket 7. If you understand what I am saying please reply thanks.
Strangely, I think most early laptops have soldered on processors. I had an old P1 133 MHz laptop that was no use to me, so me and some friends busted it apart. The processor was soldered onto the board just like a northbridge would be. :/
