Question about external enclousure

So I bought this SATA-USB 2.5" laptop drive enclousure

and it says that it can hold drives up to 100GB... but they have SATA laptop drives that are 160GB now so is there really a reason why over 100GB doesn't work or is it just that this came out when 100GB was the max and they never updated their packages or advertising?

yeah, I'm sure it should work with any 2.5" SATA drive

Unless there is something funky about the controler it has onboard, it should be fine. The only problem I see is if its controller didn't support 48-bit LBA, which would be required to get anything above 137GB. However, given that SATA is newer than 48-bit LBA I'd highly doubt you'd run into that problem

Oh well, just to be safe I got a 100GB 7,200 RPM drive Thanks though.
