I am probably going to unlock my Duron so that I can change the multiplier on it, but first would like to know if anyone here has done this sucessfully with a Jetway 663AS Pro motherboard.

Basically, there is no option in the bios to change the multiplier setting, but this might be because the processor is currently locked. When I unlock it will there then be an option to change the multiplier, or do Jetway boards not support this?

Thanks

Chris

I dont think u can change the multiplier on jetway 663as pro boards, i have one and while overclocking I experienced nothing but problems, bios updates going wrong there website down and frequent lockups.
You'd probably be best just overclocking the FSB which is what I have done, but mine will not go further thay 100mhz more thatn the default!
Hopefully that will be of some use.
Although there is a product called "Golden Fingers" which allows you to change all those settings, regardless of your board.
As I dont wish to take credit for something I didn't do, that what t the "Doctor" told me.

Good Luck,Nick

You can change the multiplier on the chip (look at the section unlock overclock) for the address, BUT BE WARNED I WAS LUCKY AND IT WORKED BUT TAKE TIME ONLY PUT THE MULTIPLIER UP BY 1 AT A TIME OR IN TOTAL AND BE PREPARED FOR IT TO GO WORNG!!! MY MATE DID IT IT DID GO WRONG. BUT IT CAN be done.
