Ok, my AK31, for reasons I have no clue about, suddenly died in a puff of smoke. Thank goodness my Cpu was ok, I speant like 100 dollars on it. Wasn't overclocking or anything. But anyways, I got it like 10 months ago from Newegg - still covered by RMA, so I got my number and am sending it in. You can only do "repair" after 30 days, but that's fine. Anyways, they prolly won't be able to repair a fried chipset...so they'd replace it, but they stopped carrying the AK 31 v3's longgggggg ago. So, what will happen? An upgrade? A downgrade? Store credit of what I payed? Or maybe even a refund? Anyways, thanks.

I'm guessing store credit or exchange with a motherboard of the same price.

Holy crap, I origionally got it for 67$....I could buy like....a refurb Nforce 2...I've never been so happy to get screwed in my life....

Well...the board I bought last summer that I had to refurb...it was for my parents comp....i think maybe 100ish....and they gave me 80 bucks credit....they do account for older tech but they will still give you some credit...but probably not the full amount.
