Ok, I found a decent deal on this computer: IBM PC Server 330
Its dual cpu capable, and can support two pII 266's. I want to know if they can support anything higher than that, like some 450's or something. I did some searches on google, and on here, but that 4 word minimum is killing me here. If I can run some 450's on this thing, I might get it, but if I can't, Im not going to waste my time. thanks.

The SECC P3 procs will fit, and unless there is something weird in this IBM's setup, you can run the faster procs. But what SMP programming are you going to run where going from 266 to 450 would make a huge difference?

I just found this good deal on one, and want to tap into smp. Its pretty cheap, and i can get some 450's pretty cheap. I wouldnt want to run p3's, becuase they are pretty expensive.
