Hi......I have a KT7a board, and I flashed the bios to 3r and now my temps are up about 5c. I read this is normal, and also a "how to fix it" on Pauls site.

I downloaded Wpcredit, and changed the hex value of 52 to EB instead of 6B just like Paul said. Low and behold, It worked. My temps imediately dropped 5c.
(normal readings)

Anyway.......that's great, but everytime I reboot, it's like the bios "forgets" and it reverts back to the Higher temps. Is there a way to make Wpcredit PERMENATELY change the value of that key so that when I reboot, It "sticks"? I am sure I am just not doing something right. Please help.

Wpcredit is just for trying out new settings you need wpcrset to make the settings stick. Wpcrset actually changes the settings when the system boots into windows so if you goof something up you can boot into safe mode and fix the problem. You should be able to download wpcrset at tweakfiles.com
