On a motherboard with slot1 and a socket 370 capibilitys....is it possiable to run 2 CPU's at the same time?

If you mean a board such as the Tyan Trinity 400 which has both a SLot 1 and 370 adapter on board, then no. You can only have one or the other in.

It just allows for both chip types.

I was looking at a different board on ebay...I was hoping to use both but figured I couldnt, oh well....thanks for the quick reply.

no, all of those boards only allow use for one or the other. You have to get a Dual CPU board to run that. If you look closely at boards like that you will see that there is no way you could run both as you couldn't fint the hsfs onto each of them.
