How do you upgrade bios. I have a A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 do i have to just get the latest update or all the ones inbetween and then how to update them... thanks

Get the latest one from the ASUS site. They should have instructions there as well on how to update it. Usually the process is to download the bios to one floppy disk, and then format another floppy disk and create an ms-dos startup disk. You boot with the msdos floppy, then swap disks and perform the instructions that you read off the site. Please read the instructions thoroughly before you do anything though.

Unless you have a specific problem that is corrected with a new BIOS, you should probably leave it alone. Such problems may include, new signatures for newr processors, fixing lock-up problems, IDE issues, etc. Any of these issues will be noted at the web page that you get the BIOS from. Look it over carefully. If you do not have an issue, you don't need to update the BIOS.
