hi all,

we just put together my brothers new comp but it seems we missed something in setup.we put all the hardware together set correct cpu speed loaded win xp no problem everthing works fine but i cant enter bios????
after power up it detects all the hardware but before starting xp it displays: press ctr<h>to enter bios setting utility, when i enter i see by channel status:no drives dedected.when i exit this it loads win xp and everthing seems to work fine.
i should mention that it takes a while for win xp to load like it would search for something.

what did i do wrong, please help?

thanks in advance

i just disabled raid controller in bios after clearing ccmos,it seems to work now fine with one harddrive. still win xp starts kinda slow any ideas why?
This is a High Point RAID controler BIOS setup utility. You need to press DELETE key to enter in the main motherboard BIOS just after the beep.
thanks nijel for the reply, the problem was i think i enabled the raid controller but was running only ide configuration i think i confused the comp now everthing is fine(so far).

this computer rocks: i just run 3D 2001 with 145 FSB and it gave me a score of 7900
